Divorce Mediation

A divorce mediator is a neutral professional who helps parties to identify and safely negotiate the legal details, and sometimes-challenging conversations, that lead to an "uncontested" divorce. By avoiding the expense and acrimony of a litigated divorce, parties who choose mediation often have an easier time moving forward with their lives after divorce. 

The Separation Agreement that emerges from divorce mediation reflects the terms agreed upon by the parties regarding such key issues as the division of marital property and, if the

parties have children, the allocation of parenting time and responsibilities.  

At the parties' request, Attorney Joyce will also prepare the packet of additional legal

documents required when filing for divorce in Massachusetts.
