Parenting Coordination

For parties who are struggling to establish a healthy "co-parenting" relationship in the wake of divorce, a Parenting Coordinator (PC) is a neutral, court-appointed professional who helps parents to regain their footing in a time of transition.  A PC coaches co-parents in their communications with each other, educates them about the impact of chronic parental conflict on children, mediates post-divorce disputes, and acts as a referee to resolve impasses without having to return to court. The goal is to learn new skills, avoid further litigation, and 

protect children from ongoing conflict.
