For co-parents who continue to fight after divorce or separation, a Parenting Coordinator (PC) is like a communication coach, a mediator, an educator, and a referee, all rolled into one. A PC is appointed by the family court to help divorced couples learn to manage their conflicts outside of the courtroom. Parents save time and money, and children benefit from reduced conflict. PCs typically assist parents in working through disputes ranging from children's activities, camps, education, and screen-time, to introducing new partners.
