Parenting Coordination

For parties who are struggling to establish a healthy "co-parenting" relationship in the wake  of their divorce, a Parenting Coordinator (PC) is a neutral, court-appointed professional who helps them to find their footing in a time of transition.  A PC coaches co-parents in their communication with each other, educates them about the impact of chronic parental conflict on children, mediates post-divorce disputes, and acts as a referee to resolve impasses without further litigation. The goal is to learn new skills, avoid further litigation, and protect children from ongoing conflict.
